We had an idea. It was going to be the ultimate wedding package contest giveaway. The best catered dinner. Ambiance and extravaganza never before experienced. More flowers than you can sneeze at. Seriously! We even had Jim Brickman.

Sometimes, some things just cannot be pulled together in time. We simply could not keep up with the clock. Before it was even announced, the contest was called off.

So today, we are officially announcing truly GREAT news:

Michigan Driving Tourism Convention and Trade Show

Picture Michigan was the official event photographer for the Driving Tourism show in Traverse City. This is our third year being involved with the show and we are impressed that it keeps getting bigger and better! This year was twice as big as last year's show in Mount Pleasant, which was double the previous year in Grand Rapids.

The Driving Tourism show brings together representatives from the hospitality industry through the Michigan Hotel Motel & Resort Association and other tourism entities for this annual three-day event.

An Editorial Assignment and Magazine Cover

Back in February, during a horrendous snowstorm, I drove north for an editorial assignment. Originally, I didn't anticipate putting this on the blog, but I was pleased with the image they chose for the cover. Plus, I was so impressed with Al (shown on the cover) and the Camp (Spring Hill Camp in Evart MI), I had to share.
